need help finding this book

Ok this is a long shot but iv been trying to find this book I got out from the library about 17 years ago and want to read it again.
I only remember a few things about it so come on you detective lot help me out her and put me out of my misery

It was a comedy
Written very much in the style of terry prattchet but im 99% sure it wasnt by him
It was about a journalist who goes to hell to interview the devil for his paper and talks to demons, imps, ferry man along the way asking them questions about what hes realy like to work for sort of thing.
The cover had a cartoony type drawing of hell (not diety dozon but similar)

Iv been trying for years to find this book but im truly stumped now

No thats not the one but that does look pretty good to read.

This one is a alive everyday journalist thats just travles to hell to get a interview with the devil.

I'm pretty sure i've read that book too. Can't remember who it's by but i only really read Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman and Tom Holt. I'm gonna have a rumage through my collection and see if i can find it

No theres just the journalust, the devil and a few demons that he meet on his way throughout hell ti the meeting.
The actuale interview was the last part of the book and was a kinda "how im missjuged" type of interview to get his side across.
I do remember him talking to/ interviewing the ferryman and from what I remember the ferryman was pretty sarcastic
