I have been dieting since having lo I'm now 10 kg below m original goal weight I'm 49.4kg goal weight was 60kg I have became obsessed with loosing weight and eating right. I need advice in how to let go and not mind if I put a little weight on I'm obsessed with weighing my self. Also I try to not eat bad foods sweets buscuits etc. but when I have one I go wild and eat to many so I also need advice on how to control myself to just have 1. Advice might not be possible but what do you do? Xx

Hey,
I hope you don't mind me saying this but, the reason I think you can't stop at one is because you're denying yourself that kind of stuff all the time. So, when you do have it, you lose control.
I used to do the same kind of thing. I had an eating disorder and was in a cycle of restricting and bingeing.
I'm not suggesting that you do or do not have an eating disorder, but I think I understand why you can't have just one biscuit.
Incase you're interested, I had CBT and was discharged in March. I was referred from my GP to the eating disorder service.
xx

ILoveShoes might have point there.. depriving yourself of something all the time can result in overindulging when you finally get that thing. I just an occasional snack or cookie never hurt anyone.. exercise and eat healthy majority of the time.. but allow yourself a snack once in a while:)

I am the SAME WAY.

It's even hard for me to keep a box of individually wrapped treats in the house, because even if I only plan on having one treat a day, guess how many wrappers are left on the counter after one evening? Ugh!

So I have to find other ways to treat myself, like at-home manis and foot scrubs and other things I like to do that make me feel pampered. Watching a movie, doing a puzzle, playing a game, something -- away from the kitchen!

I've also been known to eat pudding cups with baby spoons... because that way I have to savor each little bite and it lasts longer. LOL!

I appreciate your point, and hope you don't think I'm being rude but....
For me I don't 'deny' myself any food. Yet if I eat one chocolate bar or anything sweet - let's put it this way I could most definitely finish an 4 pack or more!
I think what we forget that sugar is addictive. so you can crave sugar. the only way I stopped myself from craving sugar was to go cold turkey in the first place.
