We have a daughter called Kaiya Rose and we are expecting our next baby in April, but we have no girls names we like or that go with Kaiya.

We like unusual and unique names for girls but not too unusual and unique if that makes sense. We want the name to go with Kaiya, and we love her name and its so hard to find a name that is equally as good which goes with hers.

Kaiya's name is Japanese too, so not sure if we should go down the Japanese route again so they sound like they go together. Me and hubby aren't Japanese, we just fell in love with the name Kaiya. or would we better off going down a completely different route on the name front?

Any help or ideas please of names and if they go with the name Kaiya too please :flower:

we want the names to compliment each other, and hubby normally just vetos what I like, and its so hard when other people have babies and 'steal' the names you like. lol x

Lol I have to agree. 2 friends named their girls Lilah abs Lily which i absolutely love so I feel like i can't use either now.

Kaiya really goes with anything though so you can't go wrong.. unless you go with something old ladyish like Margaret (which is actually my name. . And i STILL hate it.. not sure what my parents were thinking) haha

Some more for you. ..

we do like like Lilah but cant use it either :(

we did say we liked Akira but wasnt sure how well it goes with Kaiya, and if it rolls of the tongue ok, and the fact its a male name too. (i have boys names sorted lol)

we love unusual and quirky names but not too far out there. lol x

^^ love the name Willow! How important is it to you that the names "go" ? I think sometimes names that are completely different to one another are nice. It makes them more individual. and you will find in time they will flow well together as you get so used to saying them, with my daughters at first i thought there names dont go but over time they both roll off the tongue easily to me as Im so used to saying them. I wouldn't get too hung up on making the name go with your first daughters x

its not overly important that the names 'go' as such, we just didnt want this bubba to say oh Kaiya got the really good name, lol

we want them to both be individuals, so we probably dont want the name to start with k.

thinking about it too, we probably shouldnt have a name that ends in 'a' as all the ones we say, very similar to kaiya, with the emphasis on the 'a' for her name, so i think we need to steer away from the last letter being an a. x
