I like the oyster but cant seem to find where you order them from as would like to see them IRL before i order but what other prams are good. I wanted a 3n1 and double facing and one that folds flat - Ummmm am I asking too much???? Please help if you can.

Its my first baby and whilst I am very very exited am also very new to all this xxx

thank for posting its my first time too and i really struggling with what is best to buy etc.

How far along are you?

your best bet is to find a big pram stockest close to you and take yourself for a spin. i am the proud owner of 5 prams 3 double prams and a stroller. i now just use my new double pram which i love, and wish i would have saved money by spending a lot of time looking myselfand not taking others advice as each to there own needs.

my prams are all big with tyre wheels and can face either way with car seats and carrycots.

i will not be buying another pram now as i love the double pram, for my 2 and will get use out of it with another on the way

OH and I are both pretty tall so our main concern is back ache from a pram that's too low. We plan to hit all the larger baby supply stores around here and take a few for a spin in the shop to see what fits height wise and in maneuvaribility. We'd prefer a travel system which all fits together neatly but comfort for baby and us is definately the mainpurchase point!
We've also bee keeping our eyes peeled and everytime we see a pram that's too low, we look and see if the handles appear adustable, if not, it goes on the list of not suitable. :D

i have the graco symbio its lovely :D im also 6 ft and its comfy and not to small i love it loadssssssss x x

It is so hard to buy the perfect pram! I think all the travel systems have two common problems, they are expensive and heavy. You will probably want to change it once they toddle to a lighter one - so why waste your money on it? I think I will go for a pram this time and switch to a buggy later.

You also need to think about where you will use it. My £500 travel system was rubbish when I went off road! I much prefer pumped up tires.

Three wheelers are pointless with hard wheels, unstable and you can't carry shopping on the back.

The smaller the wheels the rough the ride is!

If you might have another in the next three years then look at the phil and teds sport. It has an optional babyseat which turns it into a double if the need arises! It does from birth too, and is excellent all terrain!

We've been looking at the Graco products as when I worked in a child protection unit we often had them in and were always ecent quality and not too hard on the pocket. Good to have a recommendation to add to my own fleeting experiences of pushing other people's babes around for short periods of time.

I'm getting this one

I have a feeling i will watch the video several more times till my husband lets me place an order!!!

hubby and I looked at the symbio and put our 2 year old in it and it was mega rickety. Could just have been because it was the store model and had been abused a bit but it put us off. Also when you switch the handle around and the larger wheel are at the front it felt like we were pushing a dodgy shopping trolley. Just our opinions and everyone has different wants when it comes to a pram so if anyone loves it or has one please don't take offense :flower:

We looked at the mothercare spin and loved it but thought it was WAY too overpriced. Went into town yesterday and looked at the oyster and we fell in love. Ticked every box for us. If you go on the babystyle website there's a tab to look for stockists in your area. That's what we did, got the name of the shop, gave them a tinkle and luckily they had one on display. As soon as we hit 20 weeks we're going to put a deposit down on it. I'm so excited :)
