Need some advice about College Interview

I just received my letter today, telling me I have an interview on the 13th May, at 9am and that it will last for approx 2 hours.

My due date is 7th of May, and I'm worried because I'll either have Summer by then, or I'll be overdue and could pop at any moment.

I want to do this interview, but I'm scared I'm going to be judged either because I'm already a teen mum, or just about to become one.

Also, if I do have Summer by then, since she won't be very old, I'll obviously take her with me, and I plan on BF, what am I supposed to do if she needs feeding? I can't whip out the ol boob in the middle of an interview can I?

The letter also says I have to take a test on Numeracy and literacy, which I'm not worried about, but that would mean having to leave Summer for a while to complete it.

What am I supposed to do??

I can't even say, I'll take OH with me, so he can watch her, because he has an interview the same day, not sure about if it's the same time yet, but with someone different to me.

I'm so worried and confused. I don't have a clue what to do :/

Could you ring them and explain your circumstances? See if there's anything they can do?! xx

i'd say ring them, to have a chat, if their really isn't anything they can do, then you can find a way round it, if their is, then maybe you could drag OH with you another day to watch her? they'd also appreciate that you're informing them, in advance of any difficulties instead of ringing in the morning and saying "i cant come can we do another day" xx

I agree ^^ Also does the college have a nursery? I know that round here lots of colleges have day nurseries for babies, if it does could you not put her in there just while you do the test?
They shouldn't judge you just because you are pregnant/have had a baby, - going to a college interview shows that you want to improve your life x

I had my college interview yesterday pointless info but yeaaa, ours was a group one, don't know if yours will be?
There was alot of info to take in and personally I wouldn't of took my LOs with me...i'd ring and explain your circumstances, tbh you might not of had her by then & you can still attend? I'm pretty sure they will do anything they can to meet your needs though!
If your LO is here, could you not leave her with your mum/friend, if you feed her straight away before you leave, chances are you will be back before her next feed? Or perhaps express a little too...just incase?

Good luck, oh and I hope your good at maths lmao, my brain is sooo frazzled, I did really bad I think...hoping it doesn't matter! LOL

the test thing they wouldnt let summer be there (its on a comp)

sorry if im to blunt here if you did take summer to the interview and she did need feeding id just whip out a boob nd feed her then nd there its only natural and will happen sooner or later

Yeah definitely phone them and try to arrange a date a little later... if it couldn't be changed for whatever reason, then could your OH, auntie or nana watch her whilst your there? As for feeding her, maybe try expressing some milk for her whilst you're away?

Yeahh I think I'm going to phone them. I'm seeing my OH in a few hours, so I'll see when his appointment is, and then if it's at the same time as mine, I'll just ring and explain I can't make it.
I guess I could express, but in the first few days of her life, I don't really want to confuse her with nipples and bottle iykwim?
