Right, so shopping is complete :happydance:
APART from the cot, and now mine and LO's room is ready, I can get a cot! But have no idea where to start, what to get. I'd preferably want a white one, as room is white and blue (and all furniture is white or pine) My mum said to get a cot-bed as it will last a long time, and it turns into a bed when he's ready to say goodbye to his baby cot. Help help help me please! Links to websites, pictures of ones you have, shop names in UK that you know do nice baby thing?! Not on a really tight budget for it, but not made of money lol
Expect to recieve a 'Thanks' for any help given! :flow:

I love the ones in white too.. if you've got white already then that'd look gorgeous!

I love kiddicare as well, they have some lovely things.. they have different options too so you can get just the cot, cot and mattress or cot, mattress and bedding as well :)

Is your room the one in the picture? Its beautiful! & do you have a bedding picked out yet?

Im also going to assume you live in the UK. These are all links to the U.S but im sure you could look the names up and find them in your area!

I really like this one. Its very cheap compared to most, turns into a full sized bed, its white, and I like that its very simple yet looks elegant.

I like this one too. It got good ratings and it looks really nice.

And heres a "French" white one with a changing table and drawers attatched.

I know! I love it. So expensive though. Almost half of a grand, sheesh. The good thing about convertible is though that you know you will have it for a LONG time! Or at least until the kid has their own mind to say "Mom, ive had this bed for as long as I can remember! I need a new one!" :haha:

Thank you! I love the winnie the pooh one, just wish it came in a different colour because it doesn't match the colours the things i have that are wooden in my room are a really light brown, and that's pretty dark, but i'm gonna go to mothercare tomorrow and have a look in the shop, get a clearer picture of what the cots look like if i'm actually in there! I love the second one, and goes well with room & furniture :D

Yeah that's my room in my picture :) Thank you! I really love it, it's nice and colourful and cheerful! Yeah i'm gonna try and get bedding for cot to match the room, i managed to get duvet covers that match room perfectly on the first day of looking, hoping it will be the same for cot bedding! :)
And thank you for the links, i really love the Davinci jayden 4 in 1! It's really unique! Can't find it in any UK stores though, but gonna keep my eye out for something similar! And the french one is BEAUTIFUL! :flow: :)

Just a factor to consider cot beds only convert into like toddler beds and cot beds can be costly. So it may work out cheaper to go from a cot to a full size bed with just some bed rails.

Ikea sell cots for £39.00 and they come in white and pine.

Try babies r us the Richmond collection, plain white cot bed half price at 99.99 and a sprung mattress for £70 x x x

this is the one i have, its really solid and soooo easy to put together! it doesn't have drop sides on it but i wanted one without, stops little fingers getting trapped :)

i love it :)
