Need your help ladies! Bleeding CD25/26!

Ok ladies I have only had 2 periods since having DS (still breastfeeding) & they were 40 days & 32 days. Before DS they were always 30+ days. This month I used OPKs for first time from CD10 & finally got a positive on CD20. My EWCM cleared up & I had a few twinges so presumed I ovulated CD21, which would tie in as my LP always used to be around 12 days.

Anyway last night around midnight I wiped & there was red blood & still is now. I have very mild cramps. I don't have heavy or painful periods so it's hard to say it doesn't seem like a period. But I have never had a period this short ever. I must be about 4 days past ovulation which would make my LP so incredibly short

Is there any chance this could be an implantation bleed??

I am not entirely sure if this will help but it could be that your cycle has shortened due to the hormones settling and you had a annovulatory cycle or maybe you detected a lh surge which many women get before af arrives. I would say it could be implantation but without knowing how many days it will last or how the flow is I couldn't really say. I hope you find out and you get your sticky bean soon. X

Thanks Hazybaby84, your post actually really helped me because I didn't know your LH could surge again near your period. So to update, I had kind of come to terms that it must be my period, which was fine. BUT today the bleeding has stopped??! So it was red but not heavy (but required a pad/tampon) but now I have nothing. So I am either on CD2 or CD27, lol! I guess if I'm still feeling a bit 'funny' in a few days I'll do a test just to rule it out. Unless the bleeding starts again later of course. I have this extreme thirst which was my first symptom with DS but when the bleeding started I just assumed it was my period!
