Neg hpt 7dp5dt- anyone still get pos beta?

My friend had a 5-day transfer of two blastocysts last Tuesday September 26th she tested today at 7 days past 5-day transfer and got a negative home pregnancy test. She has her beta tomorrow, has anyone gotten a positive beta after a negative home pregnancy test?

Yes I did.
However it ended in an early miscarriage, but that doesn't mean anything at all.

Quick update, her first beta was 8, second beta 48 hours later was 23 and third beta 48 hours after second beta was 66! Things are looking promising!
