negative results with all the symptoms?

hi all im really confused im a week late and have had nausea and sore boobs tiredness and weeing more and defo no af signs so i took a test 2 days ago and it said negative so i booked a docs appt thinking it was maybe an infection but he has said i should test again as it is definately pg signs has anyone else had this ?

yep me and my doc this morning felt around my tummy as its big and says i could be further on than i think but all the internet 10 miu tests i have done up til now have come back neg mind you im 11dpo today and my period not due til tomorrow - saturday. But he is convinced we are and wants me to do a first response sat & sun and then see him again on tues either way and then he will check out what is going on with my tummy let alone all the preg symtoms too, swollen sore boobs, pee ing loads, pressure low down, mild cramping, wet cm, so tired, funny taste in mouth, nausea , nipps that sometimes feel like glass in in them, achy boobs, backache, constipation, the list goes on but im with you on the neg tests and all points to pregnancy hun maybe our tests will come back positive when we are 4 months pregnant, maybe our babies want to be inconspicuos ! xx good luck hun xx

Go back to the doc for blood work- they can check for the hormone there. It does sometimes take a longer for some women to pick up the HCG hormone in their urine. But once implantation has occurred it should show in your blood a few days later.

i went to docs again this morning as i got a neg test but still ahd all the symptoms even do thought i definately was pregnant, so he looks through all my past period dates, lengths and gaps inbetween and all the symptoms that i have had on certain months and he noticed a pattern with the dates i had had m/c's and said that i was pregnant but my body could'nt keep hold of it so he is sending me to see a fertility specialist who is a close frioend of his to get a boost for my progesterone as that is the chemical that our bodies produce to sustain the pregnancy so looks like my levels are dropping a big way now im 44, even tho my tests for it a few months ago were all good , i would suggest you go and get referred hun , will let you know how i get on

Right I am 35 and have 3 children 17, 13 and 6 and in oct 2010 i missed a period. Then after about 4 days started spotting so i took pregnacy tests because i felt pregnant all negative, 2 weeks after missed period i went to my GP who did another urine test (No5) and it was negative i told him i felt pregnant and he reasured me i wasnt and booked me in for a scan incase anything else was wrong and also did some blood tests, 1 week later started bleeding but really bad and was in a lot of pain went to out of hours gp she did another test that was also negative but admitted me into hospital because i was tachycardic and in alot of pain.
I had 2 further tests on the ward both negative then had an external and internal scan that showed i had a fibroid, stayed in hosi for 3 days with heavy bleeding, which they put down to the fibroid even though its tiny 1cm in diameter they couldn't explain it. Then when i got home there was a letter off my gp asking me to book an appointment and come in and see them. I did and first thing she said was congratulations your pregnant i explained everything that had gone on and was sent back to hospital with suspected ectopic pregnancy immediately. There i had another test (no9) that said negative so they gave me a further 2 blood tests. Both showed my hcg level was coming down and that i had, had a MC or chemical pregnacy what ever that is.

So for next 3 months tried again and nothing then after my period in Jan decided enough was enough, we had intercourse twice 5th Feb and 14th, never did it in the favorable positions for conceiving never lifted bum for 30mins after. In fact the 5th was 2 days after i should of finished ovulating, I went and got a bath straight after sex and then we out for a drink .

I excepted a new job offer in work was feeling like i was getting my life on track and just concentrating on the 3 kids i already have. I was due on on Thursday 17th Feb, guess what no period now a week late had 7 tests all negative my cycle is like clock work even after the miscarriage it went back to normal, and seeing though i already have 3 kids and only time i was ever late i was pregnant. When i was due on I had the most painful backache and griping period type pain the whole time now its gone and still no menses, so back to Gps i went, this time there listening and i have had a blood test today but scared now that my hcg level is so low hence why its not getting picked up in urine, that maybe i cant sustain a pregnancy or im going through some kind of early menopause or theres something else wrong down below.

The lady who took my blood said that sometimes quite rarely hcg level can be too high and wont show up because the test doesn't understand it, the prozone effect (hook effect), what the hell it that??? I think i might be going mad and actually want my period to come because don't think i could go through another MC anyone else had false negatives??????
