Going to the midwife today, but feeling really nervous as I'm going to mention my increased discharge making me itchy. I've only ever had one smear test and hated it so I'm dreading having an internal swab done.
I know it sounds silly but I'm really shy about things like that, I know she's seen it all before but doesn't mean I've shown everyone my bits before! Just got to brave it I guess
So I'm back. The midwives were nice and helpful. However I have to have booking bloods done again as i've swapped areas! Grr! also mentioned about the discharge and she just said I had to see my gp, so that's another battle. I called the gp surgery and the nurse or someone is calling back this afternoon to assess if I need a appointment or not! So I've now bad to take the whole day off work, could hardly sit at my desk talking on the phone about my itchy bits! Got another 3 appointments so far over the next 2 weeks for bloods, 20w scan and next midwife appointment. I'm tired of appointments, supposed to work full time, you'd never know it! Sorry rant over!
