I had a scan on 17th March at 17 weeks pregnant I was told its a BOY whooooo over the moon but now I'm getting nervous as my NHS 20 week scan is coming next week... They can't get it wrong can they I know it's not 100% and was a private scan, but surely this is defaintly 100% boy xxx

Surely it can't be incorrect the scan pic says it all :) xx

Your pics to far away to see clearly but I found out from private place at 16wks I was having a boy and every scan since they say yep definitely a boy lol

Thanks hun, people keep saying but they can get it wrong but like I said surely not with a potty shot like this :) can't wait to see little man again xxx

My bestfriend who was having a girl it was flat with three distinct lines, my boy it was obvious! If you zoom the pic in more I can tell you what I think but very unlikely to be wrong if its very boy looking lol

Thanks ladies, just got a little nervous especially with buying quiet a few blue things, can't wait to see him again <3 xx

Its normal to be nervous I went crazy shopping and then the morning of my scan I was like what of they were wrong and got all freaked out but they weren't wrong! Lol mine was at 16+2 my anatomy scan wasn't til 20+6 so almost 5 wks apart I had done a lot of baby buying lol

When you hear of a gender being wrong it's usually a predicted girl coming out as a boy, not always, but a penis can hide but once you've seen the penis it's usually pretty obvious although of course nothing is ever certain. I have definitely noticed amongst my own friends that the ones who were told the tech couldn't see the gender were almost always girls when born, I assume the tech may have had an idea but couldn't be certain enough to say. As I say not always I have heard stories the other way around, but I would be pretty confident the stories stay in your head but they're rare, especially after the 20 week scan, the 20 week scans very clearly showed mine were boys even with my amateur eyes!

Thats a pretty certain boy!... When i had my 20 week scan with my sons, you couldn't deny it! haha it just floated about on the screen :haha: i knew they were boys before i was told!...

with my daughter, there couldn't tell! so instantly i knew she must of been a girl, as boys are very obvious.. i had a private scan not long after and you could pretty much tell she was girl with the very prominent 3 lines :)

They CAN be wrong but now adays it's pretty unlikely. The earlier it is, the better the chance of it being wrong, but its still rarely wrong.
