Hi everyone,
I must confess, I've been a serial forum spyer for about 4 years and have only recently gained enough confidence to join up and tell my story. Here goes.
I live in Liverpool, UK with my lovely husband and our "baby", Oscar the labrador
We have been ttc for 4 and a half years with only a few false starts and not much more luck Miscarriages are the most awful, "relationship testing" experiences I/we have ever been through and wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.
Sitting in the bathroom alone, every month, for four and a half years waiting for that elusive and rarely getting it, is one of the most perculiar character diminishing, yet building experiences.
Basically, we see a fertility Dr now, who's changed our lives. Ive been on 1500mg of Metformin for 2 years now, for polycystic ovarian syndrome and since October its helped me lose 6 and a half stone!!!!
For 2 years I was turned away from my GP with pelvic pain, weight gain and horrific monthly cycles. My fertility Dr thinks the polycystic ovaries has gotten so bad, because of the lack of care I received from my GP.
Anyway, then plan for us now is Clomid.......we start on the 13th October. Excited AND nervous, so I'm just hoping for some "real" advice, instead of "medical examples", as they are REALLY scaring me!! It would be great to get to know some people who have been through a similar journey. I have a lovely circle of friends, but sometimes think they look at me blankly when I need to vent.....not their fault I know!
Right, it'd be lovely to get to know you and your stories,
Lots of love and baby dust
