I just read about this carrier and looking for reviews. I can only seem to find sponsored mommy blog posts when I search online. I'm looking specifically for a carrier for the early months. I have the Ergo for after. I used a Moby with my son--loved the feel but it was a pain to take out and about, and it'll only be more frustrating with a toddler in tow too. I was thinking K'tan, but the Nesting Days seems like a good option too. Anyone used one or have another they'd recommend for early weeks/months? (I'll be really hot here by the time baby is 2 months old or so. Really hot.)

I've never heard of it, but I had a look at their website. It looks fine, no obvious signs that it would be dangerous (there are some slings that can only hold babies certain ways, like the babasling, that most sling experts would consider to be unsafe and they aren't usually recommended). It looks fine, I think. I think my only concern would be how adjustable it is. It looks like it's a bit pre-tied and then you just adjust it on the side. Some of those pre-tied ones don't fit everyone well (if you are short or really thin, or if you are bigger or have big boobs, etc.). It also doesn't seem to have a panel that wraps around baby's head. So like with the moby, you have a panel that wraps fully around your waste and you can pull that panel up or down for support. If you wanted to provide extra neck support, you could pull it up higher (some even roll a towel in that bit at the back of the neck). This looks like the only bits that come up to neck level are the two bits that go over your shoulder, which means that the only neck and head support is when babies head is pulled to the side. That may not be a huge problem, but if you do find you need lots of head support, it might be harder to use or you might have to hold baby's head. I've never seen one before, but looking at it, that's what strikes me first. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but might be more awkward to use and not fit as well as something that is more fully adjustable like a moby wrap. But without actually trying it, it's hard to say. It could fit you perfectly and be really comfortable. Do they have a good returns policy? If you bought one, tried it and didn't like it, could you still return it?

I've never heard of this one so had a quick look and it doesn't look too bad initially but it seems that you could either out baby in similar to how you would in a bag sling and risk chin on chest, not good or more upright but only with feet in and I think current advice is legs out so as not to risk any pressure on their feet/ankles. Either way if you can only use with legs in I probably wouldn't go for it especially as I think it would be difficult to get the size right.

If tying something like a moby isn't going to work how about a caboo, just slip it over your head, tighten with the rings at the side, pop baby in then tie the middle bit. I preferred a long stretchy but I Know a few people who couldn't get to grips with the stretchy who loved theirs and said it was much quicker.

Thanks for the feedback ladies. My son took a super long nap yesterday so I had ages to do some baby wearing googling :-) I think I've settled on starting out with the Moby (since I already have one) and then trying the K'tan Breeze if the extra fabric/heat bothers me again. Another thing I'm thinking is just trimming the Moby so it's shorter. I'm fairly thin and I'll only use when baby is little, so there's a ton of extra material. Regardless, I think I've decided to just sit tight and see how it goes once baby's here rather than do anything hasty. :-)

I loved a stretchy wrap for out and about. You dont need to take it off at all, just tie it before you leave the house and take baby in and out as you need.
