Anyone else out there pregnant and suffering from some sort of neuralgia? I've been suffering with pain in my inner ears with numbness in the outer ears for longer than I've been pregnant and a consultant has just told me he thinks it's most likely to be a neuralgia from a neck injury I sustained.
Basically the party line was 'nothing we can do till you're over 20 weeks' but I guess I want to know what others have found, and is there any evidence that chronic pain like this can cause issues with the development of the baby or the pregnancy?
Any hot tips on how to cope with pain when you're 11 weeks pregnant and all you want to do is cry or kill someone would also be very much appreciated.
