I am really getting frustrated with OPK's - I never even get a faint line. Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be possible that I am am ovulating but the tests are not picking it up? Next cycle is my 1st with clomid and I really need to be able to use OPK's succesfully, so that I can get my blood tested on the right day. I am going to switch brands for next cycle, was just using the last of the cheapy ones I got on-line first.

hi hun probably not much help but can i ask why your going on clomid? just wondering because i went on it because i had no ov, is this the case with you?

also how far into this cycle are you?

Hi. I have had 3 lot's of bloods taken; first indicated o/v and the next 2 were border line and so the FS said "we will treat it as though you don't o/v and put you on clomid"... What do you think?! I am now on CD22 and my ave cycle length is 31 days. Sorry it didn't work for you - I don't know what ovarian drilling is but I hope it works. Is Lap lap & dye? I have heard good things about it if so. Fingers x'ed for us both! X

mmmm, its all so confusing isnt it?

fx clomid will work for you, to be honest if you have already ov on your own and then borderline i think you would be in with a great chance hun, it works for so many people

ovarian drilling is where they do a lap and check you out inside, then drill holes into your ovaries, its meant to make you ov if clomid fails, or atleast clomid should work after having it done.

can i ask what were your progesterone results, its just i have mine tomorrow to check for ov and they have never been higher than 1.1 :nope:

It certainly is – I am learning daily just by being on BNB but I still find I have questions constantly! Thanks so much, I hope you are right but like all of these things, some people have success and some just don’t. I did have an HSG this cycle so I am praying that it may have helped too…

When will you know if you o/v’d? I really hope you do. What will be the next step for you if not? X

I’m sorry but I don’t have the numbers, FS not very forthcoming, his attitude was that the details don’t matter – it’s the end result that counts! Tbh, I was very unimpressed with him and had to hold my tongue a whole lot. Anyway, I am sure someone else would be able to help clarify what a borderline result is and now you pose the question – I’d quite like to know aswell!

im the same i have been coming on here on and off for 2 years now, suppose its nice because there are people who are going through similar things and sometimes, well actually a lot of the time i do DHs head in going on about ttc.

Its good that you have had your hsg done just before clomid too as the nurse at the hospital said she knows of a few who concieved shortly sfter as it gives your tubes a little clean out

Im going to have blood done first thing in the morning and hope they will have the results back later in the day but if not it will be monday

really hope clomid works for you, think positive as you say its got to work for some people :winkwink:

I totally hear you on that one; though I know my OH will be over the moon when we are finally in the club, me constantly talking about it drives him mad I can tell! But it's impossible not to, no? It just happens to be the biggest thing in my life and I can't switch it on and off like a tap!
I have heard that about HSG's too so I am praying - but not getting my hopes up. I would be a lot more hopeful if I knew if I had o/v or not!
I really wish I could afford private health care; theer is so much I want to understand - like why I am having these problems in the 1st place, I conceived 17 months ago (resulting in mmc) and so I must ovulate at least sometimes - what changed! Sigh, the good old NHS don't seem to care much for my questions!
Good luck tomorrow, fingers crossed that you get the results (weekends are cruel huh)! and let me know. X
