Hi all...so I know when you start TTC you start tuning into your body more, but I have always been pretty in tune with my body in general...we have been TTC for 4 months now and this is my fertile week....I always get slightly crampy on the day of ovulation (which should be tomorrow), but all week I have felt a bit crampy and more so the last two days. It feels almost as though AF is coming. Also, my breasts have been so tender the last week also...I got my period last month even though it wasn't as bad and even my cramps were not as bad...but I guess my question is, is this normal? Has anyone else ever experienced this? I know it seems like such a simple question, but like I said I have never experienced cramping and breast tenderness like this during my fertile week. Thanks

Only thing I can say is once I went from
29-30 my symptoms changed. Before 30 I had: 27/28 day cycles, AF lasted 6/7 days, bad cramps, bad backache, nausea 1-2 days before and lasted until cd 2, flow was heavy(for me) until cd 4-5. Since I've turned 30: 29/30 day cycles, AF lasts 3/4 days, light cramps, light backache, little to no nausea, heavy flow on cd 1-2. I don't know if this helps. I would say it's all normal because your cycles can change on a dime and one can be totally weird. Last cycle lasted 37 days and drove me nuts since I've never had that long of a cycle. I swore up and down I was preg until AF came on cd 38. Needless to say I had 2 bfn. Well I hope I've helped you. :)

My symptoms or lack thereof change almost monthly. Mother nature likes to keep me on my toes.

Hello,

The body can be a weird thing. Although you said those symptoms have never happened to you at that time, they are not uncommon. Sometimes the body timing can get bit off due to stress and hormones and health so it could just be your body catching up with itself.

Also, sadly if you are wanting a baby bad enough and are tuning in with your body close enough (that is, close enough to be SEARCHING for specific signs) then your body often makes the signs you are looking for. ...I have had to learn myself to forget about looking for signs of Pregnancy or AF or Ovulation because the minute I start asking myself "DO I have this symptom?" my body will answer "....why yes. ...yes you do."

Thanks for all the input guys! It definitely helps! I have tried really hard to ignore symptoms and signs after last month, but the fact that my breasts have been so tender since the end of my last period has made it hard to tune that part out. We shall see where this month goes :)
