Never had a positive opk :-(

Has any one who has used opks never had a positive but still ovulated? I never seem to get a positive, can get a dark line but its never as dark or darker than the control line? Is it just me?

what test you using? I had loads and never seen one positive before sex yet I got preg and them tests turned out to be crap. Even the same brand preg ones came out negs to.

I have been buying the cheap strip ones off the internet, i came off the pill in june and had a withdraw bleed soon after then a period august 5th but nothing since. Been using the tests daily, sometimes evev twice a day but all negative?! Had loads of ewcm on monday and a bit of cramping on and off for a few days so was sure i was Oing but tests say im not! Confused!
I would just all the time to make sure i dont miss it but we are living with my parents at the mo so its not always possible to bd!

I have never seen a positive one yet I am on my second child and I was using them for baby number 2 and never seen one positive yet there has to have been! pregnancy tests of same make, cheap strips 10 tests all showed either nothing of such a fake line that pack said to ignore yet that wasnt the case. I think some tests are shit to be honest.

I doubt you have them in the UK but I use Answer from WalMart.....I don't know if ASDA may carry them. I lived in the UK for a while but I don't recall ever seeing the Answer brand...do you think you may find them on Ebay or something and get them shipped from the US to the UK....goodluck sweetie these have worked REALLY WELL for me and have seen lots of very accurate results myself from them in only ONE month use! Its worth a try though!!!!

Oh right, i ordered 50 opk tests of ebay the other day and am waiting for them to come. Hope they will be ok? Because i dont have a regular cycle im having to test loads and cant afford clear blue etc really hope i get a positive soon

Took an opk this morning and its the darkest i have ever had! Probably still classed as a negative but im guessing lh surge must be close! Going to keep testing today and fx i will catch it

took three opk yesterday, 10am, 1pm and 5pm but all the same! No darker dont get it?! Will it ever get any darker!
Have tried posting pic but cant do it? Any advice?

I'm sorry I wish I knew. I'm not getting positives either and I feel I should be. I have all other symptoms of ovulation. Aargh!

Hmm, for pic posting I usually just click 'go advanced' and click manage attachments and attach pic. I know another way is to put the pic on your photobucket page and use the URL to put it right in the message.

i never get lines as dark as the control line hun...not ever but ive got pregnant tweice now uing the ic ones and whatever was the darkest line did coincide with me getting bad 0 pain 24 hours later so i could pinpoint it...last cycle i was using the ic ones alongside the cb digi opks as after our loss i am completely clueless as to my cycle.....the day i got a smiley on the cb digi is the day i got a good line on the ic...although it never ever went as dark as the control line....i am having to do the same this cycle too and am waiting for my smiley face/line....good luck hun xx

I used those the month i TTC for Jamie and according to them i never OV'd at all Dont know how Jamie happened then! lol (jamies the 1 year old in my sig!)
I just dont think they always work so FX for you hun xxx
