Never thought I'd say this, but HOORAY for AF!

So, I finally got my AF (on CD1 today) and I'm so happy. I mean, yes, a BFP this first cycle after D&C would have been wonderful, but it's nice to see that my body is getting back to a state of normalcy.

Called the RE this morning and I'm going in for blood work and an ultrasound tomorrow (or Saturday if they'll see me then) morning. Hoping to be moving in the right direction now...on to better things, right?

I was so happy when I saw AF too! Now I am stuck in the long wait to ovulate and on a baby dancing marathon so I don't miss it. Good luck!

Question: I called my RE and they say they are doubtful that this is actually AF. Huh? I had my D&C 5 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago they took my HCG beta and it was just under 400. So they think it's not possible for this to be AF because I could still have HCG in my system. Well, I don't understand. I mean over the course of the last 2 weeks couldn't the HCG have gone down to <5 and then couldn't I have started AF right after?

Guess I'll find out tomorrow - going in for blood and ultrasound...maybe?
