New and Confused! - short cycle and depo

Hey All, I'm new to the forum and just wanted a little bit of advice! - please don't judge me if I'm doing this wrong!

Myself and my partner decided 2 years ago we were going to focus on our careers and not start a family, so 18 months ago I had a depo shot. It was an awful experience and hearing about just how the shot could affect your future fertility I decided I didn't want another.

Anyway...skip a few months and with a few lifestyle changes we decided to we wanted to TTC, but haven't been been obsessive..

After the depo shot my cycle was all messed up - ranging from 56 to 32 days. For the last few months its been pretty regular at 14-15 days. I had read that you couldn't ovulate and conceive within such a short cycle.

I'm now 9 days late for the 15 day cycle so just wanted to know:

Has anyone on here got pregnant on a short cycle?

How long has it taken people to to get "back to normal" after the depo shot?
