New BBT Charter....Spike drop then back to base temp

I have been charting for a month I had a .2 (97.86) spike then a .5 (97.33) drop then back to normal (97.6 is my base). I don't know what it means or even if it means anything. I'm new to charting and am eager for answers. Thanks!

Do you have a chart you can link? Which cycle day are you on? Just curious, I'd need a bit more information My temps spike and drop throughout my cycle, but always near the same temps pre and post ovulation - and once I ovulate you can clearly see the temp rise. For example, my pre ovulation temps range between 97.4-97.9. So your temps would sound completely normal if they were on my chart lol. You'd have to keep track of them and see what's normal for you throughout your cycle.
