I've just bought some tommee tippie closer to nature bottles as chloe has had trouble with trapped wind the last few days.

Are they as good as they claim??

Dr Browns are better for wind and colic. Personally i don't rate my CTN bottles that much. Haven't tried the specific ones for colic though.

I do like Dr. Browns. I bought a mixture of a few types of bottles and have found that Dr. Browns are the best. I only have two so definitely need to buy more. :)

Did you buy the new style anti colic + ones or the original CTN ones? I've been using the original style ones with no problem

CTN were rubbish for colic i found... bought dr brown, they are much better

xx

I use the anti colic CTN bottles...i found they did improve my LO's colic as before i used to use the ordinary closer to nature ones which didnt really help. Im not too sure about Dr Brown bottles...my sister uses them and she thinks they are great xx

Took me far too long to realise these bottles are the worst lol ...sorry! I'm seeing the same review coming up more frequantly now too even from BnB members.

I'm changing her bottles & these bottles are going to the chairty shop I won't be using them with baby #2 only I picke dthe bottles up and forgot the teats since of course they come with newborn stage 1 teats lol!

thank you.

she was ok with them last night so i'll see how we go over the next few days

Glad they are working for you! Ally is quite good with wind and stuff but we are using the normal CTN bottles and also just the tommee tippee nuby ones...I think he takes the nuby ones better but as I said, he's good with wind and so far hasn't had colic.

I wouldn't recommend them, but I haven't had any specific problems. I don't think they helped prevent wind as Jack suffered terribly with trapped wind until recently & since trying a different bottle type, I think that he prefers the traditional teat style rather than the mimicked breast shape:dohh: I too will be replacing his bottles as soon as I can get to the shops unfortunately

Kalea takes the CTN bottles no problem and winding her isn't a problem. But all babies are different!

she seems to be doing fine on them and brings up wind easier. I guess its all individual, but I'm just glad Chloe seems more settled
