Can I join please?
My OH of 3.5 years proposed to me on my birthday last week. I knew it was coming, but it was still lovely and romantic! We have a baby boy and a lovely house. We were planning on getting married in Sept/oct of this year as we'd like to starting ttc #2 in winter/spring after a nice honeymoon in the winter! BUT, OH proposed on Friday and by wednesday he lost his job! They told him they were letting him go as they found out he'd spoken with someone about employment with another company. And silly me thought we lived in a fairly free country...guess not. So now, who knows when will get married!
Anyway that's my story! Glad to be in this group now!

Congratulations! I am newly engaged too. I am sorry to hear about your OH's job, they sound like tossers tbh. I am sure he will find something soon
