How long did it take you all to really beleive it?

I still can't believe im pregnant, however i visited a midwife already... did 3 pregnancy test, feeling sick all day... Its just not coming trough

Hiya and congrats...i still dont really believe it, ive just had my wee sample sent away to be confirmed by the hospital and im still thinking what if all my pregnancy tests are wrong and im imagining the symptoms lol.

Hi Celine! I've had 4 scans and heard the heart beat 3 times, I've seen the baby wiggle... and it's still not really real! I even had a dream that I was pregnant and when I woke up I forgot it was true.
Don't worry though, you'll soon get some symptoms that will make it feel more real.

It only started to feel real for me when I had the 12 week scan and Spud actually looked like a baby and when I got the doppler and could hear the heartbeat whenever I wanted!

Congrats and Welcome!! It didnt fully sink in untill yestday when I got to see my baby, Its the most amazing experience!! Im sure its nothing compared to when you see your baby in flesh for 1st time but thats what truely made it hit home that Im gunna be a mummy!!

awww that makes me so broody, when my little one was born (hes 2) was the first time i really took it in i was a mummy! seeing this beautiful baby that was mine!!! I cried and cried and had all the midwives in tears, it hasnt sunk in this time but i have a scan tomorrow so hopefully all will be ok and ill allow myself to get excited!!!

Hi Celine,

Congrats on your first ! It does take a long time to sink in, I only got mine just over a week ago and sometimes I forget and it creeps up on me and I have a little (big if I'm on my own!) smile to myself!
