Hi all!
I'm pretty darn new to this forum and just trying to pick up the lingo the best I can.
My wife and I are ttc #1 and so far after about 3-4 months of half-assing it (on my part) and not being successful, I'm doing whatever I can to whole-ass it from now on.
Admittedly, I don't do much to take care of myself....poor diet, no exercise, terrible sleeper, I'm stressed ALWAYS, sit through 80% of the day, and I'm guilty of having that high school mentality that I'm invincible health-wise and will live forever (mostly because of my high metabolism and stringy athletic build.....turning 30 in a few months). Definitely started to feel the consequences of my habits and have been questioning how it will affect my wife and I trying to conceive, most notably, I've notice my libido is way way waaaay WAY low and found out I have sciatica from sitting all day, so that's fun. I know it's not fair to my wife that I just "go about my business" and bank on it happening with little effort, which is why I'm making a conscious push to change that and show her I want to grow our family just as much as she does!
So, I'm here to learn whatever I can from you wonderful people and see if I can find some support as well! I've made a commitment to turn the corner and do whatever I possibly can to make this baby happen and so far things are going great....who knew a healthy diet, exercise, and normal restful sleep could be so rewarding to the mind and body?!?!
