New Here and need help w/ understanding numbers!

I'm new here. Hubby and I have been trying for a VERY long time....10 years approximately in June. I had one miscarriage 5 years ago which devestated me so after some time off, we have been trying pretty consistently for a year now. I also have Spina Bifida so even though women with my condition can have children and healthy ones just fine, I am not one if the lucky ones.

I went in today for my labs. I finally waited out the whole two weeks without "cheating" and getting a HPT. I'm on progesterone as well. I had my HCG shot 14 days ago today. They just called with the results. She said my HCG was only at a 2 but that my progesterone levels were very high and she was cautuosly optimistic and wants to retest me on Monday.

I have soooo many questions! I love my fertility specialist to pieces, but sometimes she talks so fast I get lost in what she is saying! What questions should I ask on Monday? What should my HCG level be at if I am indeed pregnant?! What does the abbreviation DPO mean? ( Ive seen it a lot on here) and wouldn't my progesterone be high since she has me taking it every night?

This weekend is gonna be torture! I am not "technically" late as of yet on the calendar do it could all be for not.
I am having all the same symptoms I had when I was pregnant before, same cravings, etc and even my pain doc said she thought just looking at me there was a 60/40 chance I was pregnant.

Any advice so I don't drive myself crazy this weekend would be nice. Thank you!

Hey.... I have my fingers so tightly crossed for you hun xx if your hcg was only 2 then she will be looking for it to of doubled every 48-72 hours since your test.... And dpo - days past/post ovulation xx I know its hard not to constantly think about whether this is the month or not but just relax..... Praying for you xx xx keep us updated xx
