New here, gearing up for 1st Clomid/IUI cycle

Beau Geste~ that stinks that you've had a sinus infection! Hope you feel better! It's still technically VERY early for symptoms and sooo many women don't have any until later on ... I was wondering this morning if I would have any symptoms and I told myself if I dont- to not be disappointed. 8DPO is CERTAINLY very early to test.. I think as long as your well aware of that and not reading too much into it ~ then go ahead! My doc said to wait until 2 days before AF is due which is January 19th- 13DPO. I haven't quite decided how soon I will test.. whether I will wait until then or not. Gosh I am soooooo praying for ALL of us that we get our BFP's!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tested today - BFN.

Still no symptoms! Usually I have something - tender bbs, slight cramping, etc, but nothing!

That can definitely be just as much of a good thing to have no symptoms- especially if you usually feel something every other normal month. The one girl on here said she got a BFN @ 12DPO and felt NOTHING and then ended up being preggo.. I'm trying to remember that! I am only 3 dpo .. super duper early here. I am going to try and NOT symptom spot.. its hard though.. I feel like I can't hold any merit in it because I've had months where I TRULY felt I might be preggo and never was! And besides~ with my son~ I didn't have any true symptoms either except cramping. You'll know soon~ sooner than me!!! Hoping for a BFP for you!!

hi laney- welcome to bnb! beau and i are 9dpiui and both have our beta on friday so only 1 day short of you. i don't know how long i will be about to not poas but i think i won't until friday.... when i test early, it usually doesn't make me feel any better (of course, it would if it was a bfp!)

an update on me..... well, i have been having lots and lots of cramping ever since the iui (lots more than before) and this AM i was doubled over. i have no idea why but at least it didn't last long thankfully because i was trying to get ready for work. also, i have super sore nipples (started yesterday) but that is probably the damn progesterone. i am really starting to hate that stuff. other than that, just trying to make it to friday with out going crazy. it seems like so much rests on this test so it has been hard (this weekend i was really down).

holly, beau, single, how are you ladies doing? beau did you poas again?

1hopefull~ I'm sorry you were down this past weekend I haven't felt so hot emotionally at moments since the IUI.. I know the lack of running isn't helping matters any. You DO have some awesome symptoms- sure~ it might be the progesterone- but it might be something good too!! Cramping was the ONLY symptom I had when I got pregnant with son about 9 years ago.. literally the only thing.

I know what you mean too about testing early I am trying to decide when I will take my first HPT~ my doctor is waiting to hear from me~ I don't go in for anything else unless I get a BFP. PRAYING! I am so afraid to get a BFN.. and so afraid to be hopeful too, you know?

Hey gals! I've had some gastroenteritis for the last day or so and just pretty much worn out.

I'm 10dpo/dpIUI today, POAS and BFN

However, I also don't have any symptoms, not even PMS! My bb's usually kill me by now, but nothing. I've had a few twinges in my side but nothing out of the ordinary.

I guess it's still early, I just want that BFP!

Beau Geste~ sorry to hear about your stomach bug! NO FUN!!! 10 DPO is definitely still on the early end.. I *think* that is when I may try and test first myself.. dunno.

No symptoms can be a good thing~ keep us posted!!!

10dpiui. only 4 to go! and if it is a bfn, then we are off to a nice dinner with lots of wine!

still have the cramps. Holly, how were your cramps? Kinda like period cramps but not? I am definitely NOT getting my hopes up. I did that on the first try and I regrett it. I stepped off the roller coaster i was on.

Ugh - just waiting for the witch now so I can move on to IUI cycle 2.

1hopefull~ I am TOTALLLLLLLY doing the same if I dont get a BFP. I am like you too~ I don't want to fall off that rollercoaster if I get a BFN so I am trying to almost separate myself from it. It hurts too much to expect and then be disappointed. I am trying to cautiously hopeful about it!! I am praying for ya and I hope you get your BFP!

1hopefull~ forgot to answer your question about cramps... they were very dull ~ definitely in lower part of my stomach and very similar to AF cramps!

I have a 12-13 day luteal phase, and I start feeling the onslaught a day or two before.

afm- i started to get period like cramps last night (different then the ones I have been having). Woke me up. Had them on and off today too. Probably not a good sign but I know the progesterone holds of AF until like 5 days after I stop it. So its weird but i swear every cycle is different. you never know what to expect.
