thanks everyone for such kind replies.
Well, I told him last night...made a nice dinner, let him take a mouthful and then blurted: 'I've got good news and bad news..Bad news is, I am going to be reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally annoying for nine long months good news is...you're going to be a dad!'
He was over the moon and very pleased!
So, now begins the paranoid waiting game!
I am literally just over four weeks so v v v early days...fingers crossed!
Would love to hear how others found out/ told their DH!xx

Dear all,

Just wanted to say hello. I've been reading this site for ages and was TTC. It took three months which I know is NOT a long time compared to what some have been through but it felt an age!
I have literally about half an hour ago found out I am pregnant!! And I am so happy I am actually crying writing this!!
I haven't even told my partner yet as he is stil at work!

Just wanted to say hi, to share the (hopefully full) journey! I had a miscarriage four years ago and have been terrified ever since...so this is a big step for me and I am so excited and terrified all at once!

Good luck to all and would love to hear from anybody!

It's my 1st time and 9 weeks gone. At first very worried. Listening to all the horror stories. amazing how everyone becomes an expert on what you should/not do! even strangers. I work in a shop so I have no end of advice! Apart from tired, constipated and a bit grumpy with stinking cold. Actually FEELING pregnant now it's all very exciting.

Congrats on your bump, I bet you are jumping up and down with excitement. I hope you have a happy and healthy nine months.

The day I found out I was pregnant, I actually went to the doctor's for severe stomach cramping. I told them that we had been trying but my body (after a year) was still irregular after getting off birth control. My hubby's dad was put in the hospital for Pneumonia and no one told him so I told him over the phone. Then he found out his cousins car got stolen right out of there driveway. Then, I found out I was pregnant. I called and said "I have something to tell you", he got all nervous thinking I was going to give him more bad news but I told him he was going to be a daddy. He was shocked and was just filled with excitement. Tomorrow we are getting our first ultrasound and we will find out the sex.
