Hi Ladies!
Im new here-hoping to join everyone.
Here is my story- This is now our 7th cycle TTC. I have endometriosis and ovarian cysts. I had taken provera on 12/4 and then finally got AF on the 14th (after no AF for two months). So I started my 1st round of clomid yesterday being it was CD5. Not really sure what to expect... being this is all new to me. Hoping for :bfp: this cycle!
Thanks!!

 Welcome to BnB!!!! Wishing you all the best :hugs:

Thanks so much. Not really sure how all of this works yet!:?::shy:
I'm sure I will learn my way around this site! LOL

Have been off the pill for 36 months, no BFP, not a sniff. Was having regular sex but not particularly to get pregnant, was off the pill because it didn't agree with me and I wasn't bothered if I got pregnant. Started 'actively' trying (i.e. consciously having sex rather than just doing it all the time) around 18 months ago. Am not really doing anything different than I was before because my OH and I have always been a "three or four times a week" kind of couple, but I'll admit that it does bother me that in three years I have not even had a scare.

Also have endometriosis but no ovarian cysts and am on fourth round of Clomid.

Not sure if I am buddy material but we do have two things in common.

Hey welcomes to the weird but very wonderful world of BnB... ladies here are all amazing :)

Thanks everyone for all of the warm welcomes! My fingers are crossed for all of us who are TTC and wanting that :bfp: so badly! Its kinda hard going through all of these things and not knowing what to expect. So I was really happy when I found this site. Everyone is so willing to share their experiences with you! DH doesnt really want me to tell any of the family what is going on..so its kinda hard to keep things quiet. But being a member here is really helping though!:winkwink:

Question: Those of you who are on clomid....are you tracking your ovulation with kits or charting? I was just going to try to wing it and see what happens! :?: What do you ladies suggest?

Welcome to the BnB! I just responded to you post in the Clomid club thread. Good luck and I hope this Clomid works for the both of us!

Hi there wfb. I'm quite new too - been lurking for a while but finally taken the plunge and started joining in. Isn't it fab to find so much info and support.... have a feeling I might be spending a lot of time here!

Hello and welcome! Don't really have any advice or helpful words but I am sure you will find lots of people in here who do. Everyone is so lovely and supportive. :hugs:

Hi ya

I have been TTC since Oct 07. I've got endometriosis aswell.

I'm supposed to be starting Clomid when I next get AF - however, after a year of having 33-35 day cycles, I'm now on cycle day 56 and no sign of ovulating or anything. So frustrating as I just want to get on with the Clomid.

What's provera? Is that something that brings on a bleed? Is that something I should go to my doctor and ask about?

xxx

Provera is a medication that helps to bring on AF. I think it was like one pill for 5 days, then three days later I got AF. So then I started on Clomid. I would talk to your doctor about the Provera and see what they say. Good Luck!

Hi and Welcome to BnB :hi:

As for the Clomid - I would chart, it's a very power medication so winging it is not advices in my personal opinion. Not only that - Dr's usually only let you try it for so many months, so it's best to make the most of it. Remember, if you use OPKs (Ovulation tests) to wait about 3-4 days after your last Clomid pill, otherwise you could get false positives. Also if you've been temping before this cycle I would continue, if you've never temped before it may not be worth it, because you won't know what a normal cycle looks like - but you can start now, that way for future cycles you can begin to see a pattern.

Lots of luck.

hi
i also have endometriosis & pcos, i had a lap & dye 2nd dec but have to wait til the 16th march for follow up app which means i can't start clomid until then. ive been ttc for nearly 12 months but have stupidly long cycles of 45+ days. its so frustrating that i have to wait so long, i feel like im in limbo at the moment as i don't know where i stand.

how are you finding clomid? i heard it has some bad side affects
i really hope you get your BFP soon x

NeyNey thanks for the information. I knew that when using opk you sometimes get false positives but I didnt know all of the exact details when taking clomid. So that helps..thanks for the info.

As far as the clomid goes...I did have a meltdown around day 3 (i think). I was very emotional and crying for no reason. I didnt really have any other side effect from it other than that.....So far, that is!! lol We will see what next month brings us. But hopefully we wont have to start our second cycle of clomid! Hoping for that first :bfp:

Good Luck everyone :bfp::bfp::bfp:!
My fingers are crossed for all of us.

Happy Holidays!

hollee-Im happy to hear that you were able to start on clomid finally. AF is due to come sometime around the 10th. How about you? Im hoping she doesnt though!! I hope we both get our :bfp: this month!! Good Luck!

hi hun

im not 100% sure when af arrives i usually have a long cycle but thats because im not ov so i think AF is due around the 28th. have just finished clomid & have had headaches but apart from that ive been ok.
