Hello

I am new to this site, stil trying to figure things out lol !!
But me and my husband we're just on April 2, 2011 and now we're TTC (we waste no time lol)

My period was April 20 something; I'm not good at keeping track but will start getting better! I don't really know when I ovulate, but my cycles are pretty regular (always around the 20th)
We just started TTC this month (May) and already I feel so weird. We have sex A LOT (typical newlyweds lol) and after I lay there with my legs up to better the chances.

I haven't gotten my period yet, my boobs hurt, and I'm nauseous a lot! I'm not really sure what's going on and my husband thinks my period is probably just coming (which could be the case )

I would LOVE to hear everyone's experiences/stories/advices!!
Also if everyone could catch me up on the lingo here it would be greaty appreciated!!!

If you don't fall pregnant this cycle (and your symptoms sound pretty promising), buy or check out from the library the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." It'll leave you shocked how much about your cycle you don't learn in biology and sex ed in school.

It'll teach you all about checking your basal (resting) body temperature, which can help you pinpoint ovulation. A lot of ladies here use Fertility Friend to chart that. When it goes up mid-cycle that's ovulation and it if stays up when your period should come, you're likely pregnant.

Hope it works quickly and joyously for you. Congrats on your marriage.

Congrats on your wedding! I would! But that's just me. Your symptoms sound good, hopefully you caught the eggy! So were you due for AF on the 20th then? If so, you could test now, it should come up positive if you are overdue for AF.

Thanks so much!!! And I hope we did conceive on the first time!!! Yes I was do for my AF on the 20th, as of today I am 16 DPO. I am hoping this is good news, but so nervous about taking a test. I don't want to be disappointed

Congrats on the wedding! We are getting married in September, but will start TTC in a week and a half!! Been together 8.5 years so about time really! Very unlikely I will get pregs straight away but even if I do my dress is lace up so there is extra space if needed heh heh!

My husband and I have been TTC for 5 months. I have a CBFM and 2 weeks ago it missed to tell me when I was ovulating. It went from 2 bars (high probability) to 1 bar (low probability). I was supposed to get my period 4 days ago and nothing... would you miss your period if you don't ovulate? I am going to test on Monday just in case...

Good luck ladies!!! I would spray baby dust all over ya'll but I don't know how!

I don't know if it's how it usually is for everyone, but I missed my period for Feb and Apr and my OB said it's because I didn't ovulate. And there I was thinking I was PG- sad. So now I'm charting my BBT so I have a better idea what's going on in me. I finally had a period on May 1 and now BBT chart says I ovulated again at CD 25 (with correct C-position, CM, and now a temp rise!) so FX that everything is working again!

The nice thing about charing is that I know when I'm supposed to have a period. Since my cycles are pretty irregular (31-46 days each over the course of the last year and a half, beside the skipping ovulation bit) I was CONSTANTLY having to by HPTs- even when not TTC! Now I know when to test!

If you haven't though about charting, I recommend it- for your peace of mind if nothing else! FertilityFriend.com has been helping me a LOT.

Oh! and there's even a place to chart the results of you CBFM along with your temps, signs, etc. I think with CBFM and knowing your BBT you really can't go wrong!
