Hello everyone :)
For anyone who doesn't know me I'm Ellianna, I'm 17 and I'm just over 14 weeks pregnant with my first child.
So happy to be in the 2nd tri and leaving all the sickness behind me (hopefully!)

Was just wondering if anybody knows anything about flying at the moment?
I'm going to Utah in Febuary half term and I'll be about 18ish weeks by then and I just really wanted to know that it's ok to fly then?
Thank you!

Hope everyone's good

Ellianna

Congrats... The second trimester is the safest time to fly so you should be fine I had to fly when I was 11 weeks and had no problem at all it is only the third trimester they dont want you in the air...

My doctor told me that flying during the first and second trimesters is fine but to avoid it during the third!

Yeah its fine, my doctor and midwife advised against flying after 32weeks and said even though its fine, not everyone agree's with flying before 12weeks due to miscarriage but the second trim is fine

I'm a flight attendant. I flew the first month of my pregnancy because I did not know I was pregnant yet. When I found out I'm pregnant I resigned. You are allowed to fly upto 35 weeks. If your are expecting twins you are allowed to fly upto 27 weeks. If you are in your third trimester and you want to fly you must carry a doctor certificate or letter with you stating that how many weeks you are pregnant and that you have no complications and are allowed to fly. Your body is much stronger than you think, however people tend to listen to all these pregnancy 'myths' way too much. Enjoy your flight!
