New to Clomid

Hi Everyone.

I suffer from endo and finally the infertility clinic are taking me seriously!

They have put me on Clomid . . 50mg for 6 months . . then on to other methods if this doesn't work.

Theres just one concern . . .i very rarely get EWCM and i know Clomid can make this problem worse?

Can anyone offer any advice on what i can do? Is it possible to even get pregnent with hardly any EWCM??

Hi Lamaya. I'm on my second cycle of clomid and i have no EWCM either along with a lot of the girls on here. There is an internal lube you can buy called preseed or zestica. I have used zestica this month for the first time. They are sperm friendly so it will be ok for the swimmers.

I take 4 lots of 10ml robitussin cough medicine from the day I finish the clomid. That has done the trick for me. Good luck. XXX

I have used preseed, in fact I do whether I am on Clomid or not.

50mg of Clomid doesn't usually dry you up... its more common on higher doses. The cough syrup does work... but you're better off with Mucinex or an off brand of it. It only contains Guaifenesin which is the part that helps! I don't know where you're located but, if you're in the U.S., our Dollar Tree stores sell "Mucus Relief"... 15 pills to a bottle... 2-3 a day does the trick... it's only $1. Its the SAME STUFF! I swear!

The Pre-Seed is good stuff... but only if you need it. Just like any other lube, it does still kill sperm... just not nearly as many of them. If you don't need it and make enough CM on your own, then using Pre-Seed is actually lowering your chances! Just food for thought!
