Hi everyone, my little one is 5 wks old & I am starting to switch her to formula, she has been taking one bottle a day for the past wk & she seems happy to take it so i am hoping she will be ok. I just have a few questions that have been on my mind. She is really suffering with wind/colic so she is on coleif drops, cow & gate comfort milk & TT anti colic bottles. I have been reading about Dr Brown bottles & i wondered if they are better than TT? As the comfort milk is thicker she is also on variflo teats, is that ok at 5 wks? One last question, our water here has a lot of limescale in it so i have been using boiled bottled water, i have just read that its not a good idea to use bottled water due to the minerals, does anyone know anything about this? Thanks so much in advance, katie.

Hi, We switched to Dr. Brwon bottles (we were using TT) & it made a difference. Here we use bottled water as we dont have fresh water. Just choose one with the least menirals & dont boil it (just heat it). Evian or any volcanic water is not a good choice as they'r loaded with menirals. As for teats, as long as ur LO is happy with variflo, u dont need to change it. But f u choose to go for Dr. Browns u need to get size 2 as their flow is slower than the TT teats.

Good luck xx
