UPDATED QUESTION: Is it possible that these tests would still be that dark the day after ovulation? Or that I was already ovulating at that point? We dtd on Saturday night and I took the test Sunday evening. Ever since then, the tests are becoming lighter and lighter. I didn't take an opk while on vacation. So Sunday's test is my only reference point. Thanks for any response!

My husband and I took our 10 month old son on our first family vacation and dtd twice. I got home tonight and decided to take an opk because my cycles are so all over the place still from bfing. I should have theoretically ovulated between the 13th and 16th of September but my opks were completely negative (I assume because there was no second line). Then I took this tonight. Taken 3 minutes after dipping. Is this positive? Should I be going on the tww? LOL

Looks very close to positive to me!!! You are likely to ov 24-48 hours after your positive opk so get bd-ing!!

Thanks for the reply. We are taking the stance of ntnp, but trying to track my cycles to get a better understanding of my body, just in case we go full blown ttc. I'll see if I can talk him into dtd tonight =P

I am new to taking OPK's . . . . . . Need a little advice on whether this is a positive or almost positive opk . . . . . . Currently between CD 13 and 14 . . . . . . I definitely had a negative (Test line was lighter than control line, not a whole lot but noticeably lighter).
