Hey everyone so I just went out and bought my 1st basal thermometer and I have no Idea how to use it.. Please help
Than you so muchWell, first I think you should get a fertility friend account. You can get one by clicking my ticker in my signature. You take your temperature everyday when you first wake up after at least 3 hours of sleep and enter it on to fertility friend. Fertility friend will give you crosshairs when you ovulate. After you ovulate your progesterone rises which causes your basal body temperature to rise. Your temperature will be low during the first half of your cycle and then once you ovulate your temperatures will rise for approximately 14 days and then drop just before you start your period again. If you are pregnant your body will still produce progesterone and your temperature will not drop.
PS, you can look at my chart as an example
