Congrats on your LO i had my 25 weeker @ Sunntbrook in Toroto we spent a total of 15 weeks in the hospital they are very good there so you are in great hands, its a long road and its certainly not easy but definetly worth it, also talk to the other moms im ot sure if you are bf but the breast pumping room was a great meeting place for us ICU moms just to relax or vent

So they transferred Samantha to Sick Kids in Toronto. They were concerned about her airway so they sent her to see an ear nose and throat specialist. Yesterday they passed the light through her tube and took it out while looking for abnormalities. Thankfully everything turned out great and they found nothing wrong. So she lasted on cpap for 30 minutes and she stopped breathing due to apnea. So they put get back on her vent. But she's only breathing room air so that's fabulous. They are also doing her pik line today. They did an ultrasound on her heart and saw her valve had opened up a bit more so they started meds to shut it down. She's stable and happy and feeding well. They said she is so active they have to keep an eye on her because she keep grabbing and hauling on her tubes and iv haha. Here is a picture of her! We went up to see her Thursday and she looks so good! She has more hair and grew! She would grab onto my finger and squeeze it super hard if I would try and take it away. She would curl her toes around my finger if I touched her feet. She was nuzzling her head in my hubbies hand when he would touch it. She is such strong cupcake. We are so proud of her.

Thanks so much. I love all you ladies in BnB. You are like a support group on here and have helped me so much to stay strong and think positive.
They got her pik line in with no problems. She is doing great today. Had a few spells but that's it. Can't wait to go see her tomorrow!

I started a parenting journal. So everyonec an keep up
She is doing fabulou though Her eyes are open finally. The nurses said she is super active with huge eyes. They transferred her yesterday to the hospital closer to us. It's about an hour away still but better than nothing! We are going to see her Sunday. I want to go see her tomorrow if I can. I have to take the bus up. I'll get videos of her with her eyes open and lots of pictures!!
