Hi, my name is Georgina, I'm new to the forum. I was part of 1 forum before but it was years ago so don't know if am doing this right or not lol!

My first son Gary was stillborn in 2007, he was born at 36 weeks and I still miss him everyday. I have since had 2 sons, both mostly healthy with a few complications here & there, they r now 4 and 2 & r the light of life. I found out last October I was expecting again but had a MMC in January this year, as a lot of you will know it is hard enough to ever lose 1 child in ur lifetime but that reminder of pain & loss, grieving again is awful.

I am now pregnant again this time with twins! I was scanned on Tuesday in Early pregnancy & found out, 2 yolk sacs 2 babys, 2 wee hearts beating nicely! I am roughly 8-9 weeks. Today I have started bleeding :( I am terrified I'm going to Miscarry again, has anyone else had a similar experience? Good or bad outcomes, I just wish I knew so I can be prepared :( I don't have much hope tbh. Many thanks & <3 2 u all xxxxx

Bleeding isn't always a sign of a mc. I'm currently 14 weeks into my 9th (yes, 9th) pregnancy and I've had bleeding in the first tri with all but one of those pregnancies. Yes, I've miscarried six times and the bleeding was related to the mc but I've also bled with two other pregnancies. I carried my daughter to full term despite first tri bleeding and I'm 14+2 now even though I spotted at 10 weeks. Have you talked to your doctor about the bleeding and had any further testing done? My doc always orders a quantitative hCG level to make sure my hormone levels are rising like they should and an u/s to see where the bleeding is coming from. With my daughter and my current pg, I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma (a small bleed) behind the placenta. So just be aware there are other reasons for bleeding than just a mc. Good luck and I hope this helps! :hugs:
