Hello ladies. I'm just wanting to hear some positive stories. In April we had a mmc. The baby measured 12 weeks. We had seen a hb at all the previous appts but never heard it. I had a d&c a few days after as I am a teacher and couldn't take the time off to let the baby pass naturally. That was our 1st pregnancy. My periods started normally in May. I've had 2 cycles and found out last week we are pregnant again. I will be 5 weeks tomorrow. I don't have an appt till July 23 rd. I would like to hear some success stories of women who had 1 mc then had their rainbow baby. Seems everything I've read, the women have had 2 or more before having a successful pregnancy.

I also had a mmc with my first pregnancy in December 2012. I was 14 weeks and 2 days into my pregnancy when I had an ultrasound that showed the baby was gone. As you know, it was devestating. I opted for medical management, which lead to some compilations and an overnight hospital stay. It took a couple of months to get my body back on track and have a period.

We decided to wait a while to ttc, but thankfully, I found out I was pregnant again in August 2013. I was terrified of something happeing again, but thank god the pregnancy went well.

My rainbow baby arrived just 10 weeks ago and he is our whole world!

I know how devestating mc is and how terrifying it can be to become pregnant after a loss. But there is always hope for a rainbow and my little man is proof!

I had a missed miscarriage in October of 2012 and had a d&c shortly after finding out the baby had died. I got pregnant again in April of 2013 and had my rainbow baby in January. The pregnancy was scary and stressful but my little girl came out just fine. Ask for more monitoring if it will help you worry less. The only thing I regret is not enjoying the pregnancy more. It goes so fast.

Thank you both for your positive stories! Congratulations to you both! I will try to enjoy this pregnancy. I think when we get past the 12 week point my worry will ease a little.

My timeline is very similar to Mallerm's. My first pregnancy was diagnosed as a mmc (BO) in Aug. 2012. The miscarriage was long and drawn out, so my first post-AF cycle didn't start until October. We got pregnant in May 2013 and I had our rainbow in February 2014. The pregnancy was scary, especially until the gender scan when they confirmed that EVERYTHING looked healthy, but there were still moments of fear. A MC really takes away the innocence, unfortunately. Anyway, she made her way here safe and sound! And she turned 5 months old today! No idea where the time went!!!
