New years eve

what are your plans?
feeling abit down about it all,had such a crap time last year,was pregnant and single and all my friends were loved up,i went out with my dad lol

thought this year would be different as i'm not pregnant now but no,its worse
all my friends are still loved up
i can't get a sitter
so looking like im staying in on my own

depressing eurgh

what are all you lot doing?
what did you do last year?
does having a baby mean no more new years eve nights out for years and years?

I have my girls this new year. I am going to my mum and dads, gonna have some food and a few drinks. Girls will play with my nieces and nephews and then we will most probably all sleep at mum and dads.

I dont have my girls for Christmas. They go to FOB on Friday 23rd and are there until Christmas day, he drops them back at 12pm so my sister, SIL and myself are gonna go out! Lol.

You have to make the most of it. Sometimes its so hard to see a way out but all my friends are loved up and sometimes it can be difficult but you get there, you find ways to. dont get down after all its one day/night.

You never know - we might start a NYE 2011 Single parents thread! Lol.. We can discuss our boring evenings lol

I can't wait for a new year aswell.. But then I said that last year and still had a crap year lol.

I'm lucky as my dad runs a pub so I get best of both worlds... I'll put LO to bed at her usual bedtime, get my glad rags on and go downstairs and paaaarty... she sleeps through all noise(shes just slept through band night last night) so I'm free to do what I want til the morning.

I would still be happy to be at home with her though(no hangover!).. Like Laura said. U just make the best of the situation... Next year may be your year xx

I'll most likely be on here somewhere or in bed early. I'm quite looking forward to next year actually though. Put all the crap behind me and start again without the idiots I know bugging me. Plus as sad as it is.. I've got the first 4/5 months planned out to clear the debt I've got left. xxx

yeah i suppose,LO is like 7 months old so its not like i can keep him up and talk to him or play properly lol he goes bed at 6! just grin and bare it i guess

i think part of its my fault,after the shit i had last year i think part of me expected my mum or someone to offer to babysit so i could have a better new year this year plus i realllly don't get out much

Umm... well last new years I broke up with my other ex... and this new years I am pregnant by a different guy... it all seemed so different in dreams from my youth!!!

But on a serious note, I shall most likely spend it with my family and completely sober, stone cold sober with my little pineapple cocktails my mum will make me to help me feel included... haha!!! But I'll love it!!
