Hi everyone! My name is Jenn.

May 1st I went in for an u/s at 9 weeks 5 days (measured 9 weeks 3 days) but sadly there was no HB .

I was not cramping or bleeding at all. I had my D&C on May 8th. Now I am just impatiently waiting for the bleeding to stop. DH and I are so anxious to begin TTC again.

I feel like I was left with so many unanswered questions from my Doctor as to whats next. I've been browsing the forums all day and I just want to say you all are amazing. I have found so many threads helpful and I am glad I've joined this community.

Hi Jenn,

First of all, I would like to say I am sorry for your loss. It is never easy to got through a miscarriage and you have had to have been there in order to understand the hurt.

I didn't even make it to a scan before I started spotting. I thought I was somewhere around 9 weeks but I never ever felt pregnant. The baby stopped growing at 7 weeks and I had a d & c the same day I found out. It was devastating. What hurt the most was that my Doctor encouraged us to wait 4 months before TTC again and told me I should go back on the bcp for those 4 months to give my body time to heal properly. I was not only frustrated and disappointed but I was flat out angry. There were times that I wanted to forget what the doctor said and ttc anyway but my husband persuaded me to wait. I went on the bcp and went off again a couple of weeks before the 4 month mark was up and got pregnant again on the second cycle of trying. We now have a beautiful 15 month old little girl who is our little miracle.

I know it is frustrating and my advice is only that. Do what your heart tells you but I would wait for my body to heal to give your little rainbow the very best chance. You will get your little miracle too.

Welcome here to our family. There are a lot if very wonderful and amazingly strong women on this site!

Sorry for your loss, DH and I had a mc in march and as soon as the bleeding stopped we have been ttc...
FXD you will catch your little eggy as soon as you start again... It's been said you are most fertile after a loss for a few months.. So when your ready get your on!! Lol

Thank you for you words of encouragement! We are definitely hoping to get pregnant the first opportunity we have. DH laughed at the icon! He's beyond ready. Unfortunately the bleeding seemed to pick up a little more today. I really thought it was almost done. TMI - It has been mostly brown since the d&c and today has been red and quite clotty.

Red is good and clots are getting everything out, once it stops you'll be getting your on!! Haha my DH thinks the emoticons are great also!!
