Just had my proposal this weekend, bless my OH! So very happy, but got a lot on what with being 13 weeks pregnant and various other stuff.

Anyway OH and I would like to try and plan for a wedding next year, I know it's cutting it fine what with having a baby and all, but his Mum isn't that well and he's worried about her and wants to make sure she can be there and enjoy it.

So...where do I start? Haven't got a clue...how do people find out these things! Anyway if I could pick your brains that'd be great?

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and we're planning on getting married next year too. I'm still just starting out, so guess my advice to you is limited, but my advice would be to start with looking at dates and venues.

You might wanna start looking round venues soon, since you're in 2nd tri and (hopefully) feeling good.... We've been looking the last few weekends and all the driving around etc has been really taking it out of me!

Keep us posted on all the wedding plans!! x

Aw thanks - and yes you could say that! I've gone from a really bad year last year to the most amazing year so far! It's madness, but very exciting! Thanks for the pointers...I'm beginning to feel better so yes may be best to get looking sooner rather than later I just can't decide what I want! Eek

Yeah theres so much choice out there, but once you start looking you'll get a feel for what you want! Exciting times!!

Firstly start off with a budget you have in mind and go from there

First thing you need to do really is pick a date and venue. Make sure the venue and registrar are available for the date you want x

The first thing to think about is when you would want it and how? Church or civil. Bearing in mind civil gives you plenty of opportunity to have the wedding basically where you wish!!! xx

Think you've made a good couple of points there, we won't be getting married in church, so I think I'll go and check out what other options we have. Also I have NO idea how much to budget for so, need to have a think really. Am going to start a file I think - need to get organised!

welcome to the section hun congrats on engagement and pregnancy, lot going, wedding is more than do-able. sort out the budget then find where you want to get married and make sure you can get the date you want.... with other things its all personal choice
