newbie saying HELLO

hello ladies... just thought i wud pop in and say

my name is Jen and I'm engaged to Steve, we first found out we were pregnant in Feb 07 but sadly lost our daughter Jessica at 28wks (on 1st august 07) .due to the placenta not working properly...
24th October 07 wud of be Jessica's due date and to my total surprise we found out that day that i was pregnant again...

Now I'm so scared and worried about everything...
last week i had a pink creamy discharge so i spoke to midwife who managed to get me in for a emergency scan the following morning.. on the morning of the scan i had red blood on my underwear and in the toilet.. only a few spots but enuff to make me think i had miscarried... got to my scan totally expecting them to tell me i had miscarried and there was my baby... with a good strong heartbeat.. they told me i got a haematoma.. and that was what was causing the bleeding... oh my this pregnancy is going to be one heck of a roller coaster

A haematoma (i believe) can happen over even minor things like sneezing too hard (which can burst small blood vessels), so if they said don't worry then I would relax.

yep a haematoma is a small blood clot that i have and it seems like it has burst as that is what was causing the bleed.. but im happy to say that i havent had any bleeding/spotting for the last 4 days
