Hello,
I am new to this site. I am a bit overwhelmed by all the info and a little confused by some of the abbreviations used. I am 27 and have never learned anything about ovulation days, temperatures, post ovulation etc...
Long story short - The first day of my last period was September 15th. We had unprotected sex on October 4th and 5th. I usually have a pretty consistent cycle every 28 days. Since this weekend I have been having dull pains on my side on and off. Occasionally on the left side. (Pelvic area). When should I take a test?

I would test a few days after your period is late?

Maybe even wait a week? So next Friday or Saturday.

You could in theory test today (get a 'first response' test and they work up to 6 days before period is due)

Due to my personal history I am not an advocate of testing early (but this is purely my choice)
