Ava will only be like maybe 2 weeks old.. i know she doesnt know its christmas but i still feel bad like i should get her things??
Should i?
I cant really afford santa to visit this year after getting all her baby stuff but would you get a few little things just so she has something under the treE?? or would you not bother? I just feel guilty!

Ive got playmats and just ordered her a bouncer, was gonna wrap that up but then i think ill need it, as ill be on my own and for things like if i need a shower the bouncer is ideal to put her in in the bathroom while i wash etc,

Was thinking a my first xmas outfit and bauble for the tree??
more for photographic memories??

The first Xmas Bauble and outfit it a lovely idea! TBH I wouldn't buy anything special if money is tight, just wrap up anything that hasn't been used if you want to have something under the tree for her.
Plus, I'm sure other people will buy her little gifts for her.

Its more that were having my auntie and gran over, then theres mum dad brother and sister and then me and her, everyone will be getting things and i just feel bad.

I dunno if family will get her anything with her being so little?

I will get a little outfit and a bauble for the tree, and i suppose i could wrap up an outfit or two which i have hanging up for her already? just so shes not the only person with nothing under the tree?

I got a Babys First Christmas Teddy Bear from Mama's and Papa's and a Babys first christmas bauble from Mama's and papa's as well both should have been £26.00 but bauble was down to £6 and teddy down to £8 and then used the £5.00 gift card that i got with their catalogue so got both for £10.00 instore!! So chuffed with that bargain lol

Also have a cute little christmas outfit and rattle that my gran brought back from canada :)

I have a playmat and bouncer...gonna wrap the playmat up and possibly bouncer depending on when LO is born and if il need it. Just do what others said and wrap a few wee things that you dont use between now and then or you could always wrap a few of the gifts that other people buy when LO is born. As in if they buy Ava cute little 6-9month outfit or something you could always wrap it up for xmas :)

I just got a few wee things mainly for photo's etc as will be taking millions of pictures :)

Byron was a month old at Christmas last year. We didn't get him anything, we were far to busy to have time to shop or think about Christmas. Everyone else got him presents so he had things. He had about 10 My first Christmas bibs and a big stocking from one of his aunts so we had things for photos.

K think ill get a little outfit and bauble and hopefully other people will get her few little things. I'd hate her to ask in the future what did she get for her first xmas and me have to say.. er. nothing?

as daft as it sounds wrap up nappies, wet wipes, dummies (if going to have them), any new clothes for next size you have

Im gonna be using re-useables and i think my gran gettins some so ill put them under the tree! :)

I have never asked my parents what I got for my first Christmas, wouldn't care one way or the other!

Just because she will only be at the most 2 weeks and i cant afford much after buying all her baby things she needs. FOB hasnt helped at all so far and wont probably, I am gonna get her a few little things cos i really would feel bad if i didnt,

My LO will be just a week old at x-mas, I don't plan on buying him anything. We really can't afford it, DH and I aren't even getting gifts for each other. If we do get anything It'll be something from the $1 bin at target

I've just got one toy and a xmas stocking. I do know that both my mum and MIL have got things for him as well (even though there is a chance he might not be here by xmas).

Pretty sure he'll just sleep all the way through it anyway but I thought at least the stocking can be used every year until he outgrows it. I did see the teddies/baubles in mamas and papas but not sure that I would get those out every year, personal choice I guess.

If you can't afford it then don't-theres no pressure as she will be so young and not know. But remember with her being born so close to crimbo all the toys she recieves will be put to good use in the coming year as she wont recieve much more during the year due to her 1st birthday being close to next christmas if you catch my drift?so if anyone asks what you would like for her maybe ask for toys that would suit a 6month+ child?

Brooke was 8 days old on christmas day, i didnt get her anything, i didnt know if she would be here in time for christmas or what ... i think even if i would have known she would be here i wouldnt have gotten her anything, a 1 or 2 week old baby isnt really going to understand are they?

We are actually classing this christmas as Brookes first "real" christmas too

Yeah, i think i will save it for next year, I dont think family will be getting anything for her either because they are getting things for her birth, cant expect them to get two lots straight away. Im gonna get a bauble for the tree and a little outfit, reindeer or something, That should be enough shes prob gonna sleep all day! :D

Next year will be much more fun, ill be in my own place too so we can make a much bigger deal of it! :D

I didnt really find i was in the christmas mood myself last year, i was still trying to recover from giving birth, just have a chill out this year and like you say make enxt year really special :)

Yeah, im really organised for this year already wrapped all my preasents and written all my cards, just got to get my dad something but getting him a voucher i think. And we're putting the tree up next weekend, then everything will be under it ready to go, so i can pop and not have to worry about anything. Hopefully only have AT MOST 2 weeks to go, so hopefully not gonna be TOO tired on xmas day, but we'll see! :D

My LO will be almost 4 weeks old, because we already have another DS, we have all his old clothes so any new that we have brought, we have wrapped up for him. We have also got him a big fluffy teddy!! He wont understand but i felt bad that he didnt have anything!!

I wouldnt really worry if you cant afford anything, i'm sure the love of her mummy will be enough!!

Oh we are gonna have a housefull on xmas day and boxing day so im sure she will get lots and lots of christmas cuddles!! :D:D (and ill get a bit of a break! and a drink!!!) hahaha! nah im quite excited x
