Nipple soreness, BFN - ovulation or pregnant?

For the past few weeks I have had sensitive/sore nipples and I have NO idea why! This our 2nd cycle TTC, I'm CD 17 today and my cycles are typically about 32-34 days. I took some hpt's a while back and got a BFN. I've never experienced this before and keep thinking they will go back to normal but it doesn't seem to change. I've been using opks for about a week and those all come back negative but I guess I'm just wondering if this could have anything to do with ovulation or could I be pregnant? Has anyone else experienced this before? I have no other symptoms.

I get sore nipples for a few days after I ovulate, usually 3 dpo - 8 dpo as most, totally normal for me. I didn't get this on bcp but now I know for sure that I ovulated because my nipples get so sore! Hope that helps

I usually get REALLY sore nipples a few days before and a couple days after ovulation. Then I get a break for a few days and half way through my TWW I'll usually get really tender breasts (not the nipples, just the whole things overall). So total, I probably spend a third of my cycle at a minimum with sore boobs of some form or another. It's hard to tell in your case because everyone is different, but it could just be a change in your normal cycle symptoms.
