Nipples change color?

I am very pale white and before i got pregnant my areola was really light. Well this morning i was getting dressed and they were bright reddish! i felt so weird.. i was not expecting red nipples and im hoping they change to a more natural color. Do any of your nipples change colors and if the have before do they change back?

yes, it's normal to change colour. and yes they eventually go back to their original colour so don't worry!

Mine did with my son, but this time their just huge. Apparently the reason for the change in them is so baby can find them.

before i did a preg test in my first pregnancy i noticed my aureola had become really dark and i suspected i was preg from that.its totally normal for them to change as the blood increases and the milk ducts are doing their thing.i know they will change after birth but it could be dependant on breast feeding.its all perfectly normal even almost constantly sticking out nips lol

That makes sense. Especially since im so pale that they would be red cause of the blood flow. It just kinda looks odd

Mine have a kind of 'ridge' around them, like an indent. Wasn't expecting that! Would prefer to stick to a colour change.
