I have just had 2 operations in 2 days and just have no faith left in doctors.

Last July I had a laparoscopy to remove two dermoid cysts. They spilt some of the contents while removing them and on Monday I had another lap to remove the adhesions this caused.

Then they didn't glue the cut in my belly button properly so fatty tissue spilled out and I had to go to A&E and have another operation to poke it all back in again!

This is all on top of my FS telling us we were unexplained when it turns I have PCOS, so I really just don't trust them any more.

You poor dear. :hugs:

They should've caught the PCOS during your ultrasound and when they did the blood tests.

Lap is just to check if your tubes are open and the hysteroscopy is to check for endometriosis. Which if you have adhesions, then it sounds like you may have endometriosis. Unless of course if you had prior abdominal surgery, that may have caused adhesions to form. Did he order a biopsy for confirmation of what he found? They need to be 100%.

Thanks. I think the adhesions were from the previous surgery to remove the cysts, but yes, I did wonder about endometriosis. They barely explained it to me and I was so groggy when they came round after the op I didn't ask many questions. I have another FS appointment in 2 weeks so will try and get some clear answers then. It's just so frustrating and slow progress!
