Ok so we started trying last christmas and were off to a good start with the first few cycles. Charting and dancing when we were supposed to, but my period kept coming back and I figured ok this isn't going to be easy I guess. So then what happens? My period stops in May and hasn't come since. I went to many doctors and after being tested for other concerns, and everything ended up being ok, my OB decided she believes I have PCOS. Because I'm overweight, my lack of periods and slightly elevated testosterone level. She gave me two rounds of progesterone and it never came so she basically said ok nothing more I can do here and is sending me to a fertility specialist. I have that appointment next month. I just feel like there was more she should have done? Has anyone else been in a similar situation? anyone know how I can do to get my period going again? All they tell me to do is loose weight, I'm working in that, but I feel like I am not being properly treated..

Hi Hun i didn't have periods for 4years. Eventually the fertility specialist gave me a drug to jump start them then clomid to make me ovulate and it took 5 cycles but i got my sticky BFP and little harrison arrived! My advice would be to be as pushy as u can ie ask lots of questions straight away, ask to try more than one thing at once...maybe see if a monitored cycle is possible after jump starting AF....a few suggestions. So sorry you are going through this!!!
