No picture post but BFP related question- please give me your input!!!

What would be the best tests to get? I've been surfing through here a lot and have noticed a lot of women taking a liking to Dollar Tree pregnancy tests but I'd like to know what test you guys have had the most accurate results from. AF is due today and I plan on going to get a test because of the way I'm feeling (check out https://www.babyandbump.com/two-week-wait/566562-crazy-realizations.html if you want to know). Any suggestions?

I used internet cheapies from ebay until I got proper dark positive lines (they were really faint for the first week following my missed AF).

Then I got a ClearBlue Digital - didn't need to but wanted to read the '2-3 weeks pregnant' words, for total clarification. Though, the conception indicator is NOT always accurate.

From what I've read on these forums though I've got no personal experience, avoid the blue dye tests as they're notorious for giving horrible evaps.

Yeah I read from other posters about the blue dye tests- I've never seen any around here anyways (maybe I didn't look hard enough- but I'm serious I've never seen them!). I was also looking at the pictures people were posting and the blue ones look like they "run". I'll probably end up using Dollar Tree- b/c if its a (which no one wants) at least I didn't spend $14 only to be disappointed.

Edit: Unless I get a in which case I'll probably buy one of the digital ones to be sure. I just would like some extra input

I would just stay away from the blue dye tests. For both of my pregnancies the dollar store tests gave me the earliest results. Then of course if you're getting faint positives or you just wanted it confirmed, go for the digi! =)

I would stay away from blue dyes just because the majority vote is that they suck!!! LOL! I personally have NEVER gotten an evap from a blue dye test but I wouldn't take the chance now that I know what has happened to so many of these women.
I trust the Dollar Tree ones. Ive used them plenty of times and Ive also never gotten an EVAP from them. Even when Ive gone back and dug them out of the trash 3 days later just to look (like we all do...LOL).
I have actually ordered all of my tests recently from early-pregnancy-tests.com
They offer "conception packs" where you can get better deals on the strips. They also offer the ones you pee on vs the strips you have to dip. I buy the strips, cause they're the same thing, just not in the plastic casing.
But anyways, I buy the pack #2. You get 25 OPKs and 10 HPTs for $25 with free shipping. They do have other combo packs if you want more HPT and less OPKs.
Just a thought and a place you could look.
Oh, and I found this website called peeonastick.com where they cover everything that could/should give you false+/false- results. She dipped the strips in everything....water, breastmilk, blood, etc just to see if she'd get evaps or false results. It was very interesting.
