No second line on opk on predicted ovulation day

Just wondered if anyone has had this problem,I started testing 2 days before my predicted ovulation day & I'm not even getting a second line at all. I have been using opks for 5 months & always had at least a faint second line building up to ovulation so I'm worried I'm not going to ovulate this month now or whether it's just maybe a bad batch of opks or I ovulated a lot earlier than I have for the last 5 months & I missed it.

There is no way of being sure but my 1st guess would be that you are a day or two late with ovulation.

I'm wondering if that's the case although I did have some ewcm yesterday & my app has me down to ovulate today. I was planning on doing every other day until positive opk then everyday for a few days so hopefully if I ovulated early we didn't miss our chance & will just keep going every other day incase it hasn't happened yet & I'll keep testing.
