Love it, and my OH was very very keen but we just felt it was a little too foreign for us. I pitched Noa (to be pronounced almost the same way, maybe you could put a macron over the 'o' to make it clearer?) as an alternative but OH wasn't as keen on that.

I love Noa (strange as I hate Noah for a boy) but pronounce it a little differently to Noor. Definitely will consider it though, and it might be easier for people to say here. I prefer the spelling of Noor though! Looks so mysterious IMO.

Yes definitely similar taste in names! Unfortunately OH vetoed Manon as he can't pronounce it.

Noor just reminds me of my mums cousin who married an Egyptian half her ages and changed her name to noor. So I'm not kean. I do think Nora is cute

Rowshan means bright and is also a beautiful name.
